Attraction of companies to Biopark proves that there are no frontiers for innovation

When it comes to innovation, there are no territorial borders. At Biopark, the mission of stimulating disruptive businesses through various benefits has attracted the attention of entrepreneurs from different regions of Brazil and also from other countries. In the first two months of 2021 alone, 14 new companies and startups from the states of São Paulo, Paraná, Piauí, Ceará and Rio Grande do Sul and also from other countries, such as Chile and Peru, joined the Ecosystem. In total, there are already more than 100 businesses operating there. . The possibility of accessing the Brazilian market was one of the factors that led the Chilean company Nodust to join Biopark at the beginning of the year. "We are focused on important markets, such as Chile, Mexico and Argentina and this year we decided to expand our presence to Brazil, since we see the country with great expectations and we believe that Biopark will be able to help access this market" explains Pablo Morbiducci, founder of the company and that currently also operates in Silicon Valley, in the United States, where it develops new technologies. Nodust created an electronic device that optimizes the air conditioning system of the cabins of heavy vehicles, reducing the presence of viruses and toxic materials, which helps in the prevention of respiratory diseases for operators. It is one of the 19 international companies present in Biopark and that receive all the necessary help for the installation, from documentation, opening the company in Brazil, to a Portuguese course. For Global Eletronics, from Guaíba, in Rio Grande do Sul, among the differentials found in the Ecosystem are the qualified workforce and the possibility of interacting with other residents. “In Biopark we find a very healthy ecosystem. We have already identified several companies with potential for partnership and we also realized that there is an excellent workplace here, with many courses and universities ”, explains Nickel Strider, CEO of the company.

In the market for ten years, they are dedicated to the manufacture of electronic boards and products, in addition to comprehensive advice and competitiveness diagnostics for their clients, ranging from small companies to large multinationals. The company is studying the assembly of a production line for its components in the Company. From the other end of the country, from Fortaleza, in Ceará, came Aironnet Systems, which offers solutions in research, innovation, robotics and artificial intelligence. It was the regional agribusiness, mainly the opportunity to develop solutions for pig farming, that attracted the company. “The proposal to have a space, networking with other companies, all follow-up / mentoring, as well as other benefits in exchange for growth, motivated us a lot to enter Biopark. Here we will work with the automation of the pig market through artificial intelligence and RFID, contributing to the development of the region ”, explains Marcelo Laranjeira Melo, CEO of the company. But there is also room for those who are right next door. This is the case of Mann Tecnologia, which is located in Novo Sobradinho, Toledo district, a few kilometers from the Biopark. The company is working on the prototype of an oil-free booster compressor, a product not yet manufactured in Brazil capable of satisfying various types of demand. “Biopark gives us a different relationship with the client, with more credibility and visibility. Being here we expect a substantial growth in 2021 ”, comments Fernando Libermann, owner of the company. According to Luiz Donaduzzi, founder and president of Biopark, the goal is to generate business "density". "We look at the potential of companies, especially the ability to innovate and create jobs," he highlights. Residency program

Through a Residency Program, Biopark companies and startups have access to various benefits. Among them are the physical structure in spaces ranging from exclusive rooms for offices, laboratories, industrial areas or coworking, according to the needs of each business, with a one-year rental exemption.
